1 French stick or 3 large baps butter for spreading 1 clove garlic, cut in half 12 button mushrooms, sliced 175g/6oz Stilton cheese, sliced 115g/4oz streaky bacon, chopped
Cut French stick into 3 and halve each piece lengthways or cut baps in half. Rub surface of bread with the cut side of garlic clove and spread with a little butter. Place mushrooms on the bread and arrange cheese on top. Sprinkle with bacon pieces and cook under a medium heat grill for about 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the bacon is crisp.
