An interesting filling with some tangy flavours.
Serves 2
4 bagels 50g/2oz curd cheese 1 tbsp chopped chives ˝tsp creamed horseradish sauce Black pepper to taste 225g/8oz smoked mackerel squeeze of lemon juice Watercress roughly chopped
Cut bagels in half. Mix curd cheese with chopped chives, creamed horseradish sauce, season with black pepper and spread on the bagel bases. Flake smoked mackerel and place on top of the cheese. Squeeze some lemon juice on top and add some roughly chopped watercress. Finish with bagel tops.
