A fantastic packed lunch idea for children of all ages, with spoonfuls of honey, crunchy peanut butter and chocolate chips to revitalise tired lunchboxes!
Serves 4 children or 2 adults
6 slices of Granary bread, crust removed (optional) Butter, margarine or low fat spread 6 tsp honey (any variety) 6 tbsp crunch peanut butter 6 tbsp chocolate chips
Place the bread slices onto a chopping board and spread with butter, margarine or low fat spread. Spread one slice of each sandwich with honey and the other with peanut butter and sprinkle over the chocolate chips. Cut into triangles.
Cook's Tip - Use any variety of sliced bread to suit. This recipe works well as a toasted sandwich too. If your child is not allowed peanut butter in their lunch box because of allergy controls at school, substitute with mashed banana.
