Makes 20 batons
1 Ciabatta bread 8 tbsp olive oil 1 185g jar red pepper pesto 1tsp Basil 2tsp Sesame seeds grated Parmesan cheese
Slice ciabatta in half horizontally and cut into 1cm (½ inch) wide strips - approximately 20. Lay batons flat on a baking tray. Drizzle with half the olive oil. Spread red pepper pesto on each strip. Then sprinkle the strips with half the basil, half the sesame seeds and half with grated parmesan. Turn batons over and repeat wiht the olive oil, red pepper pesto, basil, sesame seeds and grated parmesan. Bake in a hot oven at 200C/400F/gas 6 for 10 mins or until golden.
