Posh nosh is our top choice for BBQs

Recession? What recession? Britons are intending to spend more on BBQ food than ever according to a recent survey.
Gone are the days of bangers and baps, as a survey by Red Tractor beef and lamb reveals that posher nosh, such as tuna and salmon steaks are our new BBQ favourites.
When surveyed, six out of ten people said they would choose herb sausages and seasoned steaks instead of the traditional cheaper sausages and burgers.
Even our BBQ accompaniments have been upgraded, with one in six saying that they would serve elaborate salads or hummus and one in ten will serve halloumi or guacamole.
