More and more youngsters are baking to save money

Young people struggling to make ends meet have sparked the biggest home baking boom since the 1970s.
Nearly four in 10 more Britons aged 18 to 34 are now baking their own bread, cakes, pies and pastries at home than a year ago. The home baking market is now worth £628million and sales have grown by around 24% over the past two years, according to data from Kantar.
