If you are up for a spring picnic but need a bit of inspiration then the ideas below should help liven up your picnic!
• Classic sarnies are always a popular choice for picnics but rather than the usual ham or cheese varieties, why not try our recipes for pear and stilton on walnut bread or our balsamic roasted tomatoes and mozzarella foccacia.
• Alternatively if you fancy a lighter alternative, which not try our or Caesar salad, Tuscan tomato and pimiento salad or sweet pepper gazpacho.
• If your children love finger food or have a tendency for sticking to what they know, why not try them on our crispy sausage and mild mustard bites or ham and cheese wraps.
• A picnic wouldn’t be a picnic without a few treats so why not bake a classic Victoria Sponge for the adults and jeweled cookies for the kids.
