Bake your own Christmas decorations!

It’s nearly the school holidays and everyone knows what that means for parents… excited little ones who want to be kept amused at all times. But instead of giving them paper decorations to make, why not do something really exciting and bake them instead?
Salt dough is relatively cheap and easy to make – it’s effectively homemade play dough. It is non toxic but it doesn’t taste very nice anyway so little people won’t want to eat it. The dough can be coloured before baking using food colouring or painting once the decorations have been baked and cooled down.
