New Educational Cooking Resources

Recently nabim (The National Association of British & Irish Millers).....

....has been working with the BNF (British Nutrition Foundation) to develop several new cooking videos, worksheets and interactive activities based on flour recipes for Licence to Cook which is a new national cooking programme. 

Licence to Cook is led by a consortium group comprised of the British Nutrition Foundation (BNF), The Design and Technology Association and the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.   The programme is designed to address the standards, skills and knowledge that support food education, ensuring that teachers and related professionals are confident in their subject knowledge and skills, and that schools are equipped to deliver a sustainable programme. 

New resources:  Cooking videos and a new sessions relating to bread, pancakes and biscuits are now available.  These resources have been developed in partnership with Home Grown Cereal Authority and the National Association of British & Irish Millers (nabim).

The Licence to Cook resources is available on www.grainchain.com in the teacher centre and also in the recipe section.  These can also be used by members on their own sites www.licencetocook.org.uk
