The Glycaemic Index Q&As

Q:

Is the GI a good way of selecting a healthy diet?

A:

Good nutrition is more than just GI. Although the GI system has been around since the 1990's, it has only recently been more widely adopted within the diet and health industry. There are an increasing number of diet plans that refer to the GI of foods including the Atkins Diet and the South Beach diet. Despite this more widespread use, the application to everyday life remain flawed and difficult.
