Nutritional Profiler
Welcome to the Flour Advisory Bureau's online nutritional profiler. The profiler will give you an indication of whether you are consuming a healthy balance of the 4 major food groups: Protein foods; carbohydrate rich foods; fruit and vegetables; and fats and oils. UK Department of Health guidelines recommend eating 50% of your energy intake as carbohydrates although many people fail to achieve this. Using the information you produce, the profiler will assess the proportion of each food group you are eating. It is only intended to be a rough guide.
For each table all you need to do is to type in the number of portions of each food you have eaten over a typical three days. Once you have completed the first table, which covers protein rich foods, click the OK button, which will take you to the next food table and so on. There are four food tables in all. So get clicking and find out how balanced your diet is.
